Keryie Vickers

Training – Arts Educational Schools, London – 3 yr Musical Theatre Course, DTTLS

Teaching – Jazz, Body conditioning, Audition technique and preparation, Image work, Choreography, Pas de Deux, Acting through song, Vocal portfolio

Whilst training Keryie performed in many productions including; ‘Pal Joey’ and ‘ Sweeney Todd’ at the Arts Educational School and ‘And the world goes round’ at The Criterion , London. Keryie’s performance credits also include dancing for Raymond Gubbay at The Barbican and for the JSS Singers at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. In her final year of training Keryie won the Arts Educational award for outstanding choreography.

Immediately after completing her training Keryie took a position in Japan running the International Dance School of Tokyo. On her return Keryie completed a tour of Italy and Barcelona with the JSS Singers for whom she was resident choreographer for 13 years.
Keryie’s directorial/choreographic credits include excerpts from a wide range of musicals for the JSS Singers at The Royal Albert Hall, Queen Elizabeth and Royal Festival Halls and venues across Italy and Spain. Keryie has also directed many musicals for the MET at Northbrook, these include ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘Sweeney Todd’, ‘The Wild Party’ South East Premiere, ‘Bare’ (Southern Premiere )‘ Rent’ , ‘Spring awakening’ and numerous showcases across a variety of venues across London and the south coast including Battersea Arts Centre, Jackson’s Lane, Brighton Dome Studios, The Old Market and the warren as part of Brighton Fringe.

Keryie is also Artistic director and founder of ‘Kompact Theatre’, a contemporary musical theatre company and ‘Live It Productions’, a charity events company.

Keryie is currently Head of Musical Theatre at Met at Northbrook. She is excited by the opportunities that this position brings and loves getting to work with such talented and dedicated people.
